A collaborative project with Volksbuehne theatre in Berlin. This was a part of our long term concern over urban cultures, development, citizenship and related violence. As part of their year long project on Substitute City (ErsatzStadt), Volksbuehne hosted an evening of oral presentations, multi-media shows, exhibitions and installation on Bombay: Seven Islands and a Metro. Majlis curated the programme in collaboration with Pong, a media group in Berlin.
