Each is a different way of entering the city, both formally and textually. Through documentary films, a music channel’s incisive comments on cultural policing, footage shot by various camera people covering the 2004 elections, a researcher's detailed journey to different road side shrines, trying to understand or at least to record, local histories... We hope it is a collection that complicates the ways in which we look at our city. We also periodically conduct video workshops in various neighborhoods. The workshops culminate into the participants shooting their own lives. Under this project we collected material on the city shot from the view points of neo youth group in the closed textile mill area and girls from a Muslim ghetto.
