The ‘lived city’ is formed by the spaces of everyday life,
of exchanges, of interactions and of productions. The
‘city of desire’ exists in representations distorted
through multiple lenses. This is the city as it is
imagined. The locations of these cities within the city
and their intersections and overlaps are mapped through
cartographs, testimonies, documents, popular culture
images, found images and personal archives.
