With the emergence of an era where any image can possibly
be intervened upon, reproduced in the whole or fragments
at any conceivable space, virtual or real and also can be
erased as easily without any remote archival remains –
what do we do with images from conflict zone? Images from
conflict zones also get refracted through the
contradictory memories originated from various other
sources. The mind of the citizen of the nation-state has
developed its own archive, sourced from the myriad
information machinery, which in turn makes the
producing/seeing/reading/remembering more derivative than
organic. We aim to create a niche to address this whole
gamut of image politics.
